Star Watchers is a collection of over 50 diverse poems, where a handful of selected poems merge to tell a greater story, of love, darkness and the hard-earned journey of life. The book captivates the imagination, provokes fear and leaves readers in wonder with a shocking discovery. Several poems are inspired by Edgar Allan Poe.
The challenge is to figure out which poems piece together the larger story called, Star Watchers. The key is to pay close attention to the reappearance of characters and phrases; particularly, the series of poems also entitled, Star Watchers.
Star Watchers uses fantasy, horror, and inspirational elements to provoke new ways of seeing the human condition. The poetry depicts unhappy, nervous, bitter and clever individuals; they found themselves in both triumphs and defeats. Unfortunately, these characters often met with the fate of tragedy and unexpected twist. Their misfortunes serve not only to entertain but also to inform its readership. Each poem and each character draws out a meaningful message for readers to take away with them. Yet, after piecing the poems together, there is an even bigger story–left for readers to determine for themselves.

Star Watcher is a great book to add to your collection of poetry book on your bookshelf. Kelly is a great story writer and I can't read to read more of her books.
Very unique writing style. Indeed, quite similar to Edgar Allen Poe. Look forward to other works from Ms. Vang this coming year.
What I love the most about Star Watchers, is that it takes me to another world while reading each poem. The author creatively crafted these poems to line up with each other by the end of the book. I find that fascinating... glad I bought a copy.

Star Watchers is a book of poems that are inspirational,romantic, and dark. It is intriguing and Kelly Vang truly delivers on a Edgar Allen Poe like creation.
Poetry is usually a very hard read for me, but I truly enjoyed these poems. I love how the author entwines certain poems to create a larger story for the readers. It captivates and captures the imagination with the story that lies within the poems.
